Oulian supply chain provides two sea freight ways to help customers to handle their cargo: FCL (a full container load) or LCL (groupage, or a less-than-container load) are your options when shipping a container to Vietnam.
FCL Sea Freight to Vietnam
You'll need to determine your shipping volume in order to make an informed decision here. Any shipment equal to at least half of a container is considered a full container load (FCL), keeping in mind that a 20-foot container can hold 10 standard pallets, while a 40-foot container ships 22 standard pallets.
FCL is also the best way to avoid any risk of damage to your goods that may be caused by contact with other exporters' merchandise, FCL is faster than LCL, once cargos have been loading that ships can set out.
LCL Sea Freight to Vietnam
A shared container (LCL)-known as groupage-is a good and economical choice if separating your goods from others' isn't a concern. LCL can save a lot of costs compared to FCL. If your goods are not afraid of colliding with other goods, then LCL is a good choice.
Shipping Time to Vietnam
Different steamship carriers, different loading port, different destination port, make the transit time hard to be summarized. Most of time you can simply take it as 5 days for your schedule.
